The ankle CPM is a relatively new piece of equipment in Australia which is designed to assist in postoperative recovery. It is aimed at improving ROM, comfort and strength in the ankle joint; this is done through exercises including ankle inversion and eversion, as well as dorsiflexion and plantar flexion.
