LX-7 Sequential Intermittent Compression System

The LX-7 Sequential Intermittent Compression System is designed for the prevention and treatment of DVT, lymphedema, venosclerosis, diabetes, chronic venous insufficiency, varicose veins, sciatica and sprains. It is also used as part of the recovery plan for post-paralytic, post-mastectomy and post-trauma patients.

It can be rented with sleeves for both the arm and leg.

The LX-7 features:

  • A computer controlled power unit with easy to use and read touch-sensitive controls
  • 4 chamber system for sequential compression along the limb
  • Individually activated channels allow isolated treatment to foot, calf, knee or thigh; or wrist, forearm, elbow or upper arm
  • Variable pressure from 20-140mmHg (10mmHg increments)
  • 2 modes of compression:
    • Constant sequential – each chamber inflates in order starting from the extremity, moving towards the torso; once all chambers are inflated they simultaneously deflate and the cycle starts again
    •  Normal sequential – each chamber inflates and deflates sequentially starting from the extremity, moving towards the torso; in this mode only one chamber is inflated at a time
  • Easy fit garments that are comfortable to use
  • A sanitary, washable boot-liner (for leg garments) that is placed inside the garment to ensure cleanliness and patient protection which is kept by the patient
