Having the right pressure care management system in place is crucial in providing effective care of patients at risk of or who have developed pressure wounds. We can help you implement systems to manage those patients providing them with the right treatment quickly and effectively while saving your institution money.
The unique construction and the materials used in the manufacturing of the mattress allow us to sanitise our products to a higher level without using any harsh or hazardous chemicals.
The traditional way to clean and sanitise a pressure care mattress is to wash the top cover in chemical solutions and wipe down the base and cell structure with chemical disinfectants allowing for human error.
With our mattress, the top cover, base and cells are all separated and washed in a commercial washing machine. This process allows us to heat disinfect the components to Australian standards ensuring every time you receive a mattress it is effectively disinfected, cleaned and smelling fresh for your patients.
After the mattress has been cleaned it is reassembled and tested for correct functioning. A general service is preformed on the pump at the same time.
The pump is safety tested and a tag is placed on the pump and around the power lead. All of our cleaning and testing records are kept in our database for future reference.
Once the unit has completed testing it is placed in a sealed bag ready for delivery.

The MediMatt-800 has been designed for
prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers
in patients who are high to very high risk and
have little to no mobility. It is perfectly suited
to high end hospital and home care
requirements.
The mattress works on a one in three cycle
and an auto adjusting computer controlled
pump. The one in three cycle has a lower
average interface pressure as well as giving
patients enhanced comfort.
The pump has a full inflate static mode which aids carers in positioning the patient safely and with minimum effort.
