Cleaning and Disinfection of rental equipment.
Medi-Rent Pty Limited has invested in equipment and technology to ensure our equipment is cleaned and disinfected to the highest standard. Wherever possible we wash all soft goods in a commercial washing machine which heat disinfects and cleans to Australian healthcare standards. This includes all equipment components that come in contact with the patient such as CPM covers and entire pressure care mattresses.
The chemicals we use to clean and disinfect our hardware are the highest in quality ensuring they are effective while still being gentle on the environment.
The effectiveness of our cleaning processes is regularly tested by an independent laboratory so you can be assured that when we deliver our equipment to you it has been cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards.
Equipment Servicing
Before any rental equipment reaches our clients it has been serviced function tested and safety tested. Records are kept for each piece of equipment whenever it is serviced tested and cleaned. All equipment is tagged clearly indicating the last test date.
Delivery
We employ our own staff (Customer Service Field Representative) to deliver and install rental equipment. Having our own field representatives enables us to :
- Ensure our equipment is delivered on time
- Educate the client on use and care of the equipment.
- Ensure the equipment is set up and working properly
- Safely deal with contaminated equipment (MRSI ect)
