Clinell Universal Wipes contain a patented formula with wide spectrum antimicrobial activity, including fungicidal activity, bactericidal activity against MRSA, VRE, Kelbsiella (CRE) and Acinetobacter, and virucidal activity against Norovirus, Influenza (H1N1) and Herpes Simplex virus. High level disinfectant, peracetic acid generating wipes, activated by water, for surface disinfection and cleaning of non-invasive medical devices. Peracetic acid is a safe alternative to chlorine. It is faster and more effective at reducing spore counts than chlorine solutions and with a near neutral pH, they can be used on non-invasive medical devices and equipment without corrosion. Peracetic acid remains effective in highly soiled conditions unlike chlorine and glutaraldehyde-based products which are inhibited by dirt and organic matter. Clinell sporicidal wipes are effective against Clostridium difficile associated disease.
